Direct Skills started from the ground up by two guys who started on the ground!

By building relationships from the ground up, the boys quickly realized they had between them the right network of men and clients to start a labour hire business.

This business would service the industry that served them for over ten years prior. The business would source good men they knew, find them good jobs, and in turn offer their clients quality workers they could rely and depend on for the short to medium term.

These same values still ring true at today, and are very much a part of the culture here at Direct Skill.

With the Directors having existing businesses in the Civil and Mining industry with Ground Hogg earth moving, EDI, and Ground Hogg Sales and rentals, the civil market is where Direct Skills naturally had its strongest presence. Over the past ten years Direct Skills has grown on its reputation of supplying quality workers to civil market and expanded its client base into the building sector in 2005.
